Critics and Judges

Okay so Critics, Who are they and why does everyone care what they think or follow them?

A food critic, seriously? who is this guy or woman that decides what is good and what is bad? Okay, I can see rating customer service, and how long it takes to get a waiter or waitress to serve you, or how long it takes to get your food, the cleanliness of a restaurant or how nice they or rude they are, but to decide if the food is good? no, I think not, the simple fact is that everyone has different tastes and different taste buds, what may not taste good to you may taste good to me or someone else, Or something that tastes good to them may not taste good to me, so how do they get trusted to tell us what is good and what is not, shouldn't that be up to each individual. Shouldn't each of us be a food critic and write a review on what we think it tastes like if it is good, or bad, if it is worth the money or if everyone should go eat there? But we don't, we take the word of a man or woman, and will avoid a place just because this man or woman did not like the food, or liked the food. It just seems too "Sheepy" for me.

Judges, not political or legal justices or justices of the peace, those guys went to school and have advanced degrees behind them, they earned the right to be a judge.

No, I am talking about judges of fairs and fashion shows sporting events like the Olympics. Who made these people judges and just how are they qualified to be a judge? does anyone know? Did someone walk in and say "Het I grew up on a pig farm, I know pigs" and they said "perfect you are now the judge of the pigs at the fair" Did someone do that at a beauty contest, "Het I look at beautiful women all day I know when one is pretty" and someone said, "Perfect you are now a beauty pageant judge" Its the same for all judges, How are the qualified to judge people or animals? How do they know what is perfect or not? what background do they have to be qualified to be a judge? If they judge a painting, they may not like it, but what if I do? What if I like that painting better and think it should have gotten first place? is anyone going to listen to me? No, because I am not a judge and not qualified to make that decision But this guy or gal is? okay, but how are they qualified? What did they do that made them qualified? What gives them the right to say "hey this is better, I don't care what you think or your opinion on it, I am the judge and you are not, so we will be using my opinion and not yours!" Seems legit to me! NOT!!!!!

it is the same ay with a movie critic, "Oh I did not like that movie it had no plot or direction! the actors were bad! it was boring! Well maybe you thought so, but maybe the millions of people who watched it liked it, Maybe you just have no taste in good movies. Maybe you should not be rating movies.

I say all fairs, pageants, restaurants, and movies should be judged by everyone. Let the people decide for themselves if something is ugly or beautiful If something tastes good or bad. If something is perfect or flawed, If something is good or bad, if something is worth watching or a waste of money. The sheep say let the critic decide for me, The wolves stand outside and say I will decide for own self.
